Why should schools teach life skills?
Teaching life skills supports students’ personal growth, by providing knowledge, skills and social capital. Life skills can and should be actively taught to children all throughout their time in school. This includes noticing the positive and fostering kindness.

What is the most important thing you’ve learned in school?
The most important thing I learned was the power of communication. I was empowered by my teachers and coaches to use my words to motivate, inform, and inspire. Throughout my education, I poured my soul into my words, whether written or spoken.
Why do we need life skills?
In everyday life, the development of life skills helps students to: Find new ways of thinking and problem solving. Recognise the impact of their actions and teaches them to take responsibility for what they do rather than blame others. Build confidence both in spoken skills and for group collaboration and cooperation.
What is your college life about?
One of the best things about college life is that you get a new experience every day. In my college life, along with study, I and my friends enjoyed a lot of other things. We travelled lots of places, had new experiences and learned many new things.
Why do we need schools?
“We have schools for a lot of reasons. Beyond teaching skills, schools do a lot of other things for us: they take care of children during the day so their parents know they’re safe while they’re working to earn money, and schools provide a sense of community.”
What is your experience in college?
College life prepares you for all of this. It is a perfect blend of joy and hardships. You meet different people, you interact with them, you learn about their cultures and grow as a person. You will understand how to talk to different people, how to judge their behavior, thus helping you with important life skills.
