Application Cycle The early action deadline is the 1st of November 2020, and for regular applications, it is 1st of January 2021.

MIT admissions would be the place to go for actual statistics, but as I understand it, the interview matters. If you apply to MIT, you should interview. A strong interview definitely helps your chances of being admitted. An average or bad interview does not help, but is not likely in itself to crush your application.
