What kind of plywood do you use on a snowmobile trailer?
Registered. Regular exterior grade plywood with a heavy coat of oil based paint on the top. I was told to leave the bottom untreated so the water that does get in can drain out. My 8×8 Triton had 1/2″ ply and the way it slips into the sides of the trailer prevents you from easily going to a thicker wood.
Are mission snowmobile trailers any good?
The build quality is good, but honestly a bit below that of Charmac, Trails West or Mirage. But that’s reflected in their lower price as well. They won’t have all the crazy bells and whistles you can get with the others , but they’re a great trailer for the basics – light weight, tows well, has led lights , etc..
