Is Mass Save legitimate?
Is Mass Save legitimate? In short, yes — Mass Save is the result of an association of well-known utility companies and providers of energy-saving services. The program is funded by the consumers’ payments of the energy efficiency charges that they have on their electric bills.

Mass Save is an initiative sponsored by Massachusetts’ natural gas and electric utilities and energy efficiency service providers, including Berkshire Gas Company, Cape Light Compact, Eversource, Liberty, National Grid, and Unitil.

Does Mass Save cover replacement windows?
Customer can finance up to the total installed costs of $500 per window for every type of eligible replacement windows. If insulation and/or air sealing measures are recommended by your Mass Save Energy Specialist, then the recommended measures must be completed in order to be eligible to finance the windows.
How long does it take to get a rebate from Mass Save?
A: After we confirm that the renovation or addition is complete, customers typically receive an incentive check within 10–12 weeks.
