What is fermacell?
fermacell® Gypsum Fibreboard is a homogenous building board made from recycled gypsum, recycled cellulose fibres from post consumer waste paper and recycled water. Due to its homogenous composition, fermacell® boards outperform traditional drylining.
Can you paint directly onto fermacell?

Can you plaster onto fermacell board?
As mentioned in a previous post, the main benefits to fermacell is that it does not require a plaster skim coat, and it is strong enough to take fastenings without the need to locate a batten to screw into.
