How to get into Formula BMW?
To be eligible to compete in Formula BMW, drivers had to be at least fifteen years old, and must not have competed in any international racing series other than karting. They must have held an International racing license no higher than Grade C.

How do you get into Formula 1?
Here are the basic requirements for you to get your Super Licence:
- Over 18 years of age.
- International Grade A competition licence holder.
- Valid driving licence in your national country.
- Passing an FIA theory test on Formula 1 sporting regulations.
- Complete 80% of two seasons in qualified single seater championships.
Is Formula 1 a league?
There are not really any Formula 1 leagues, but rather Formula 1 is a league in itself. F1 is sanctioned and overseen by the International Automobile Federation (FIA), who is the global motorsport governing body.
Will BMW get back into F1?
Their decision was a “long-term strategic decision” as told by their officials. They left Formula 1 and used those resources for their research and development purposes. Formula 1 might approach them as the engine rules are going to be revised after 2020, but BMW currently has no plans to come back.
