Accessories that are not manufactured by Stokke® have not been tested and safety approved. The Tripp Trapp® Newborn Set can be used from birth up to around 6 months when your child is normally ready to begin sitting unaided.

How do I get rid of Tripp Trapp Newborn set?

The restraint system can be removed when your child has reached the age of 36 months AND is able to sit safely on TRIPP TRAPP®. Use a tool to remove the clip under the seat plate to detach the crotch strap. Use a screwdriver to detach the rest of the harness from the backrest.

Can newborn sleep in Tripp Trapp?

Can you use the Tripp Trapp harness without the baby set?

The maximum recommended load for the Tripp Trapp® chair is 110 kg/242lbs, as the chair can also be used as an adult chair when used without the Baby Set™. The Baby Set, restraint system and Extended Gliders shall always be in use when Tripp Trapp® is used as a high chair. The product then complies with ASTM F404.

Is Tripp Trapp Newborn set worth it?

It is usable from birth up to 20lbs and we use it all day long! In my opinion, it’s so worth the extra money because of how much it comes in handy. Having an extra safe-place to put Shea is so key, especially with a 3 year old running around.

Can you use harness without baby set Tripp Trapp?

For 2019, Stokke is now offering the Tripp Trapp High Chair, a single package that includes the chair (without the harness) and Baby Set (with harness attached). The Tripp Trapp has not changed since 2019 and is not undergoing any updates for 2021.
