Who makes Amniox?
We are proud to announce that TissueTech, Amniox, and Bio-Tissue will now be known under a single commercial, customer-facing entity – BioTissue. As one unified brand with one platform technology behind it, our vision has become even clearer: Realize the full potential of regenerative therapy.
What do you mean by Amniox?
About us. Amniox® Medical is the leader in amniotic membrane and umbilical cord regenerative tissue therapies and is supported by more than 25 years of research characterizing and preserving the biology and functionality of human Amniotic Membrane (AM) and Umbilical Cord (UC).
How long does it take for clarix Flo to work?
CLARIX FLO works both to control the discomfort from inflammation and help support the regenerative healing process. Patients report pain relief in a few days, and an improvement in function over several weeks.
What is Amniox graft?
The NEOX Products from Amniox are human Amniotic Membrane grafts preserved through a patented process called CRYOTEK™, which maintains the innate biological potential of the membrane. CRYOTEK™ processed grafts are supported by more than 300 peer-reviewed scientific publications.
What is clarix Flo?
CLARIX FLO is a sterile, particulate human amniotic membrane and umbilical cord tissue product that is aseptically processed in compliance with current Good Tissue Practices (cGTP) from the same donated human tissue (placenta) after determination of eligibility and placenta/cord suitability.
What is clarix used for?
CLARIX umbilical cord based allografts can be used intra-operatively to help facilitate healing of the soft tissues and joints. CLARIX helps deliver the innate properties of placental birth tissue, to help manage adhesions in soft tissue injuries, supporting: Improved function and range-of-motion.
Where does amniotic tissue come from?
Amniotic tissue, which includes amniotic membrane and amniotic fluid, is taken from the inner most layer of the placenta. The placenta is collected AFTER a live birth delivered via elective cesarean section. The mother has volunteered to donate her placental tissues, which are typically discarded after the birth.
Where does the amnion come from?
The amnion arises from the epiblast cells of the blastocyst and grows to surround the developing embryo, creating a fluid-filled cavity. Thus, throughout prenatal life, humans are surrounded by AF. This fluid serves many functions critical for prenatal development.
Is Amniox FDA approved?
(Amniox), a TissueTech, Inc. TissueTech is currently the only human birth tissue manufacturer cleared by the FDA to proceed with an IND study for the treatment of facet OA. FDA clearance of this IND application represents one of the first steps in commercializing TTAX03-FJ as a biologic.
What is AmnioExcel made of?
AmnioExcel® Plus, is a next generation, thicker, tri-layer allograft consisting of amnion-chorion-amnion layers. It is easy to apply and maintains the inherent extracellular matrix (ECM), cytokines, and growth factors found in placental tissue.
What is amniotic membrane allograft?
Description. Amniotic membrane, or amnion, is the innermost layer of the placenta and consists of a thick basement membrane and an avascular stromal matrix. Amniotic membrane transplantation has been used as a graft or as a dressing in different surgical subspecialties.
