What area does MK Connect cover?
MK Connect covers the entire borough. There is no fixed route and you can travel anywhere within Milton Keynes. You can pay with a credit/debit card or an MK Move smart card. Rides cost £3.50 during peak hours (7am-9am, 4.30pm-6.30pm) and £2.50 at all other times.

Can you pay by card on bus Milton Keynes?
You just tap the card on boarding, wait until you hear the beep and take your seat. MK Move and PAYG purse top ups are not available on bus.
Do MK buses take card?

What is MK move?
MK MOVE is a multi-operator product you can buy for periods of 1, 7 or 28 days. You prepay and load the product you want, it starts the first time you board the bus and allows you to travel as many times as you want on any bus operator in the scheme during the period (1, 7 or 28 days) until midnight on the final day.
Does Oyster card work in Milton Keynes?
The short answer is no – apart from the areas with London Underground stations. If you have an Oyster Card and you’re trying to get to London, you won’t be able to use it in Milton Keynes, High Wycombeor Beaconsfield because the journey falls outside of the Transport for London (TFL) travel zones.

Can I use an MK move smart card on Mk connect?
Yes! You can use an MK Move smart card, which is offered by Milton Keynes Council for use on MK Connect and other public transport in Milton Keynes. You can purchase and top up a card at one of the machines on the street or online. The card can be used instead of cash to pay for travel on MK Connect.
Can I change the destination of an MK connect ride?
Once you start an MK Connect ride, the destination cannot be changed. If you have yet to board, you can cancel the ride and re-book with a new destination. Can I set a favourite location in the app? Yes! Head to the ‘Favourites’ tab in the app menu, tap ‘Set Home Address’ or ‘Set Work Address’ and type in the address of your preferred location.
