I just bought myself a bottle of 4711 with my Xmas money (it came in a delightful commemorative tin, which I am using to keep my late grandmother’s compacts and dress gloves in) and it’s a truly solid scent. I like that it’s fresh and clean but a little musky in an olde-world luxury way. Also the bottle looks great on my vanity.
